Look closely, on the left at the top wire rim of the container, and you will see a little mouth wide open, waiting for lunch.

Okay, I see it now. How cute! And lucky you, with babies to observe. We used to have a swallows' nest on our front porch, and they came back every year. I always enjoyed keeping an eye on them.
