Hey D! I always look forward to Friday cat blogging. Roxie and Velma are superb. But please keep an eye on letting them too close to dryer sheets. They can be poisonous to our precious kitties. My grandmother wiped down a kitty with a dryer sheet thinking it was a clever way to control static in his fur, and found him dead the next day (after he'd licked his fur and ingested some of the dryer sheet residue). It was years before she could even tell me what really happened because she was so horrified by the consequences of her mistake. The Bounce dryer sheet site has a tiny warning about keeping them away from children and pets, but a lot of people think dryer sheets are harmless and it isn't true. Odd you should mention it. I found her in there a couple of times when we were not using dryer sheets, and the one time since then, I did yank her out because of the dryer sheet. (Also, you never know when the door could suddenly close--we really have to watch Roxie.) I'm glad you posted this because it could save some other kitty.
