Beauties!! I love their coloring against the denim.

Aren't they silly? They love to be on our clothes, whether we've just worn them or just taken them out of the drier.

My cats were the same way. Little Girl would curl up in my shirts and would only get on the sofa if there was a towel, not a clean towel, one that I rubbed my arms on, she had to have my scent. I think I cried harder when she died than I did when my best friend died. I know that sounds silly. Then Boots, oh my gosh, what a spoiled kitty he was. He would not go to sleep unless I either held him or I went to bed until he fell asleep. He loved to cuddle. Little Girl on one side, Boots on the other. They didn't like being next to each other, but they both loved being next to me. I miss them and so love your cat day blog. It makes me live a little vicariously through your pictures and brings back many pleasant memories.

Thanks, Zelma. Having two cats is fun. These two, of course, like to be with each other as much as they like to be with us. If Velma wakes up in room by herself, she cries until one of us comes and gets her.

And people are so arrogant to think animals don't have emotions. I could tell when my cats and my dog were sad, happy, or nervous. My cats grieved for our dog and when Little Girl died, Boots looked for her for months, often looking out of the door and then poking his head back in and mewoing. I knew he was looking for her. I'm sad that he had to be put to sleep, but I'm happy he didn't have to see any one else that he loved die.
