Where I come from, we call it lying

Now, by the way, any time you hear the United States government talking about wiretap, it requires--a wiretap requires a court order. Nothing has changed, by the way. When we're talking about chasing down terrorists, we're talking about getting a court order before we do so.

Ha! I posted that too! I caught them playing the tape on CNN this afternoon and rushed home to find the transcript.

Talk about caught in a lie.... again.

The problem is what W and company are doing is not a wiretap. They are looking at ALL communications traffic, sifting through and picking out what they want. This goes far beyong the authority given for a wiretap. This is srtictly aginst the fourth ammendment.
