The New York Times may be doing a terrible job of reporting on Iraq

But it is kicking ass on Katrina.

I am praising the newspaper, not the writer. And I do not judge people by who their parents are. And even if she is indeed a communist who sneaked into the increasingly conservative New York Times, she is still spot-on.
