whoops, something happened. To finish, I still sat, bundled up just to smell the hyacinths.

The Victorians used them to make their houses smell nice.
I used to buy the pre-chilled kind that require only brief chilling when you get them, but not I buy some of the antiques that require minimum chilling, anyway.
