Friday cat blogging--Why cats don't blog

4 Comments:

These beauties have the right idea, methinks! They've got a zen-like contentment to tend to. Lessons, please! There was a tortie in a film we watched tonight, and I am in love.

Hope your holiday's gotten off to a festive start!

Preening is much, MUCH more important than blogging.

Tortie cats rock. Velma is listed over at Tortie Love, but there is no longer a photo gallery, which is upsetting her no end, since she is convinced she is the hottest torts around.

Velma is a patch tortoiseshell; we used to have a brindle, who lived here with all of her adult children, who, with their stepsister, drove her nuts.

Roxie and Velma almost always groom together. Either they groom each other (which always leads to a fight), or they groom together separately, as it were. Looking good is indeed everything.

how funny - i was just thinking the other day that if i had adopted 2 female cats together instead of just 1, i would have named them roxie and velma! then i found this post through the friday ark.

as it is, i only have one, and we named her dorothy parker. she is dottie most of the time, and "dorothy parker!" when she's been bad :)
