Friday cat blogging--Roxie needs a brand new bag

Roxie relaxes in a grocery bag

Hangs out in it
And then she and her sister trash it

Your cat in the bag makes me think of my cats, Little Girl, and Boots, they both loved to play in sacks and boxes. In fact, Girl would find a grocery sack, crawl in, and fall asleep, while Boots would run and attack the sack she was sleeping in. And the boxes, oh my how they loved to run their noses around the edge of the box and get inside and play and play. Everyone needs a cat to teach them about chilling and a dog to teach them about loyality. I miss my dear animal, all three dead not at the same time but over a period of five years and of old age, and I can't wait until I get out of graduate school, get a job, and can have puppies and kittens.

Our cat Princess, who died at the age of 18 (outliving her mother, her siblings and her "step-sister") was very attached to both of us--or so I thought Once, my husband had to go out of town for several days. The whole time he was gone, she lived in a grocery bag! She came out only for food and to use her litter box. I was crushed.

What was that old saying about not being able to find one's way out of a paper bag? Seems your cats have no problem in that department!
