Camp Casey has been destroyed
Thieves and vandals have taken everything, even Casey Sheehan's boots. All gone. The crosses, the tents, the flowers, the books. Everything. You want to talk about looting? There are some slimeball looters in Texas.

I am beginning to believe there are some pretty evil people in Texas.
I often wonder what would drive a person to do something like that.

I'm completely appalled. But unfortunately, not surprised. I'm sure there have been bubba whackos hanging around on the outskirts just waiting for folks to leave so they could come in and do what they and their party do best: destroy things.

The fact that they took Casey's shoes is just too much for me. No respect, no human regard for another's very real suffering. We don't have to agree about the circumstance to recognize that someone is in pain.
