And I wonder, wonder who...who wrote The Book of Virtues

Bill Bennett, America's former "morality czar" and author of The Book of Virtues, spoke frankly today in a remark he made on his radio program, "Bill Bennett's Morning in America." In response to a caller who wanted to talk about an assertion made in the book, Freakonomics, that the crime rate is down partly because abortion rates have increased:

I can't forgive him for this. The implications are clear-- black people are to blame for all the ills of society. All the while maintaining his moral high road, he states what every neocon really believes: There are two separate, completely distinct societies in this country and by distancing themselves from people of color (and suggesting that although they certainly don't approve of it, if the black people would miraculously disappear then the only ones to worry about would be those Godless liberals), all American problems would vanish.

He's a sanctimonious closet-racist with a God-complex. Billy, I puke in your general direction.
