Paul Hackett on "Real Time"
Did anyone else find him shallow and phony? This was the first time I'd seen him, and I couldn't wait for the interview to be over.

I caught this, too! He seemed like an immature kid. What the heck was that ha-ha "joke" about anal sex and his not knowing Maher that well? Even Maher was like, Alrighty then. Honestly, the fact that he's good looking won't carry him terribly far if this is the level of discourse he can offer.
Actually, the entire show bugged me. Could we get one decent representative for our approximate POV? They've got Phyllis F*cking Schlafly on there! (God help me.) They've got Asa Hutchinson and some new blonde, anorexic automaton, and they're all persistent in making their points, no matter how insane. And what do we have? One smart jokester and one mumbling host. I can't stand it.

I think he put Phyllis on there so we could all get a good laugh. She really went to pieces when he brought up her gay son, didn't she?
Hackett came across to me as a major jerk. I don't even find him good-looking.
