From A Religious Liberal Blog comes word that the Church of England has voted to remove barriers to women's ordination as bishops. There is also a link to a piece by the wonderful Karen Armstrong: "The label of Catholic terror was never used about the IRA."

Isn't it nice to see other countries like England and Spain becoming so progressive while here in the U.S. we're busily returning to the dark ages?

To be fair, though, the Episcopal Church in America has had women bishops for several years, and Gene Robinson, of course, is a gay bishop.
