Once again, the Vatican has shown the world that it just doesn't get it. When, in a meeting of a Vocations Committee in our parish, while discussing possible solutions to the ever-expanding problem of priest shortages, I suggested maybe it was time to look towards some revolutionary changes in the Church, after some members picked their jaws up from the floor, I was told that I should pray for my mortal soul and that my services on the committee were no longer needed.
This was ten years ago... before the world was enlightened about the activities (and proclivities) of some of our 'priests' (read 'child-molesters hiding behind cassocks' here). I've since given up on the whole bunch of them.
Screw me once... shame on you. Screw me twice... shame on me!

Yeah, that IS pretty funny. Imagine, women trying to be religious leaders, when men are already obviously the only ones good at it.
