Are making me feel sick and ashamed. There are hardly enough words to describe what a hypocritical, dangerous, deceptive, democracy-bashing man he was.
Anyone who thinks there is "hope" right now need only look at this latest piece of shame to understand what kind of government people either want, or are too lazy and uninvolved to fight against.

I'm beyond nauseated. This is pretty heave-worthy indeed. I honestly think AOL had to have done something to help generate that outcome, though. I simply can't believe it (much like the presidential election results).
I think we are truly TRULY trapped in a society of constant, schizophrenic propaganda and most of our citizens are getting too confused to think for themselves. I'm not excusing it, mind you.
Oh, the Dumming Down of America is alive and well...

Why on earth would people think of REAGAN when they are thinking about the greatest American ever??? Did they choose from a list or was it an open-ended question . . . because that could influence the answers and the frequency of answers.
I guess I didn't realize that people liked him so much. Sure, they called him the "Great Communicator" but he was communicating discrimination and greed. Jeez.

I think they began with a very big list, and then narrowed it down. But Americans really do worship Reagan, as disgusting as that is.

This really says something about the ignorance of the American people. A man who sanctioned the slaughter of thousands of Central Americans including women, children, priests and nuns is voted "Greatest American"!?
Most people think he is single-handedly responsible for "winning" the Cold War and "defeating" the Soviet Union. People forget about the economic collapse of the Soviet Union which led to the fall as well as Gorby's reforms.
