Censoring stories about the realities of war is nothing new

MacArthur did it too.

I can personally testify to the censoring process during Vietnam. One such censor maintained an office next door to Batallion Headquarters in Khe Sanh. Johnson had developed an interest here, even before the siege.

Frankly, nothing would surprise me about these people and their ability to distort the truth. Embedded reporters in Iraq won't mention it until they no longer fear governmental retribution, but a few are coming forth with horror stories about censored stories.

Very interesting, DED... how in the world would he know, never having once set foot in RVN? He's as big a loser as his kid.
