The May garden


Kaempheria rotunda, sometimes known as the Peacock Ginger. It starts like this, with orchid-like flowers that look as though they were dropped on the ground. Later, there will be spikes that unfurl stunning leaves that are green and silver on the front and purple on the back. Some sources say that there are also bracts with yellow flowers, but we have never seen any. Posted by Hello
