Save me from the angry gay mob!

From Eleventh Avenue South comes this report about Minnesota State Senator Michele Bachmann. Bachmann tried to circumvent the Senate committee process and force a floor vote of the amendment to end domestic partnerships and ban civil unions and same-sex marriage while the Minnesota GLBT community was outside the state house holding a gay rights rally. The Senate rejected Bachmann's attempt, and when she left the building, she hid in the bushes to avoid contact with the crowd. Apparently, Bachmann is a constant provider of entertainment in her state.
