Judge reduces child rapist's sentence

A Canadian man raped his daughter repeatedly, from when she was two years old to about four, then videotaped the assaults and produced child pornography with them. He was sentenced to fifteen years in prison, but the Quebec Court of Appeal voted 2-1 to reduce his sentence to nine years.

"There was no violence, such as gagging, threatening or hitting the child," one of the justices wrote in his decision.
