World AIDS Day

Cefnogwch diwrnod AIDS y byd

Today is World AIDS Day. AIDS is the biggest ongoing tragedy in the world, yet the news media pays virtually no attention to it. For the last five years, our government's most significant involvement in the AIDS crisis has been to help create a greater spread of the syndrome, causing more people to die in countries like Africa. However, the news media has chosen to focus on the money we have contributed, thereby making it look as though we have responded in a humanitarian way.

Our government's response to the AIDS crisis is motivated by the desire of certain religions to oppress women at any cost. The death of multitudes of people, including children, is a big cost.
